Tirumala: Terming the summer arrangements made by TTD for the sake of multitude of visiting pilgrims as cool, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao said that all measures have been initiated to see that the pilgrims are not forced to wait for long hours in the queue lines and in compartments even during weekends.
Talking to media persons after four-hour long inspection in Tirumala on Friday the EO said, “We have cancelled the Aged and physically challenged darshan slot in the morning of Fridays till June end and we have also restricted the VIP darshan tickets only to protocol VIPs. With these minor amendments, we could now able to start the sarva darshan on Fridays by 9:30am itself”, he added.
Earlier the EO inspected the temple and personally observed the clearance of the queue lines inside the sanctum. Later he also inspected Rs.300 new complex, annaprasadam distribution, cleaning by health in the queue lines, vaikuntham queue lines, Kalyanakatta, luggage counters, Jalaprasadam units etc. He also interacted with the srivari sevakulu and told them to offer more dedicated services to the pilgrims as the pilgrim rush has incredibly increased in Tirumala owning to week end.
