Tirumala: The leopards that entered Shrine town have panicked the devotees and the residents. Thw Forest Department in Tirumala has installed cages in the different locations in the town after receiving information about leopards roaming in nearby localities. The residents near the temple had identified four leopards in different locations of town and brought the issue into the notice of temple’s administration and forest department. Thus the forest department has installed cages and assured the residents of preventing leopard attack.

The theft attempt on the Srivari Hundi, the main hundi at Tirumala Balaji Temple, has panicked the Temple Administration. The theft attempt was made on Tuesday early morning. Thieves have tried to unlock the Hundi after breaking metal rod located opposite to it. Later, the thieves were caught by the temple guards after CCTV surveillance rang the caution bell. Tirumala: A Python appeared near Kalyana Vedike near the famous Tirumala temple for the second day creating panic among the devotees on Wednesday. The baby python, about four feet long, was seen in Pourav Sangham at Kalyana Vedika which is one kilometer away from the main temple. The python was seen around 12 noon and was later caught by the snake experts and released to the forest nearby. A six-foot long cobra was caught from the same location on Tuesday and was released later to the forests.
