The Sri Varalakshmi Vratam, the festival of Goddess of wealth will be celebrated at the Padmavati Ammavari Temple, Trichanoor on a grand scale on August 12.
Devotees desiring participating in the festival could obtain tickets at the Kumkumarchana counters of PAT from morning 10.00 AM of August 11th on first come first served basis  at the rate of one ticket each for devotees.
About 200 tickets will be sold for devotees at rate of Rs.500 each for (two participants) and they were advised to bring xerox copy of their photo IDs. The ticket holders will be presented one anga vastram, one laddu and one blouse piece as prasadam after the  event.

Bhajans, Stick dance (kolatam) and other cultural events will be performed at the PAT as part of the Sri Varalakshmi vratam when the deity will be taken out on a golden chariot procession in the Mada streets of the temple.

In view of the Sri Varalakshmi vratam the daily rituals of Lakshmi puja, Kalyanotsavam and Unjalseva, Abhisekanantara darshan will be suspended for the day on August 12th.
