TTD EO D Sambasiva Rao directed the concerned officials to streamline the entire system for laddu distribution to pilgrims in order to ensure a smooth and efficient distribution. The administrative head of TTD discussed with senior officers of various department in Tirumala and reviewed the ongoing development activities in the respective departments. He instructed the officials from civil, electrical, mass cleaning, Medicare etc to complete all the pending works within the time schedule before Brahmotsavams.

We have also given free hand to the officials concerned to get adequate manpower to see the smooth and steady run of distribution of laddus. A meeting with bankers will be held soon who operate laddu counters to improvise our services to pilgrims “, he added.

TTD will hold buffer stock of laddus every day with an aim to provide laddus to the plenitude of visiting pilgrims without any inconvenience during the ensuing annual Brahmotsavams in October, said TTD EO D Sambasiva Rao. An additional luggage centre to hold over 1000 baggage is coming up alongside the shoe counter of main Kalyanakatta soon. “Today PAC 4 is developed in such a way wherein both depositings of the luggage and collection is being carried out without any discomfort.

The Tilakadharana to devotees by Srivari Sevakulu is garnering a positive response from pilgrims and we will enhance the service and see that the devotees who go for darshan wear the traditional tilakam”, he added.
