Tirupati: The temple management of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) which is always abuzz with temple related and devotional activities is now set its eyes on the `National Theatre Festival’ in the name of Garuda Natakotsavams which will be entering into its sixtieth anniversary in October this year.
A review meeting in this connection was held in the chambers of TTD EO D Samba Siva Rao who is also the president of Sri Venkateswara Natyakala Parishat.

The temple management TTD has been funding the event as part of its promotion of art, heritage and culture.
The EO instructed the concerned to see that this year, the event should elevate the image and reputation of the Garuda Natakotsavam in this year of Diamond Jubilee. “A number of historical, mythological and social plays, playlists, mono action and light music concerts which are innovative should include in this event”, the EO asserted.
He also said, those who have performed on important play houses can enroll in this Parishat by paying a registration fees of Rs.1116 towards membership.
Local Legislator Sugunamma, Parishad Secretary  Jayaprakash, SO All Projects  N Muktheswara Rao were also present
