Getting the darshan of Tirupati Balaji has become more alluring with the forest division of TTD developing a new spiritual garden at Tirumala Ghat. The new forest named ‘Vinayaka Vanam’ is developed at the second ghat Vinayaka Temple.
The Forest Wing of TTD under the personal supervision of Deputy Conservator of Forests Sri NV Sivaram Prasad has already created three other mini forests based on spirituality and are named “Nakshatra Vanam”, “Raasi Vanam”, “Karthika Vanam.”
The concept forests at Alipiri and Tirumala has been a hit among the devotees who welcomed the curated greenery that soothes the mind and body.
The new forest also called “Ekavimsati Patra Vanam” is built adjacent to Second Ghat Road Vinayaka Temple, near Alipiri, the Gate Way to Tirumala which is acting as the cynosure to the pilgrims. The new spiritual garden is a delight to the eyes and is developed in a 300 Sq.metre area, enhancing the beauty of green cover of Sesha Chala Ranges.
This “Vinayaka Vanam” is conceptually developed with the 21 important types of leaves which are used while performing Ganesh Puja on the festival of Ganesha Chaturthi, which include Tulsi, VishnuKranta, Devadaru, and Badari Patram among others.
