Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) board is testing an herbal mix to clean boondi used to prepare famous Tirupati Laddus. A massive fire broke out in the famous Tirumala Tirupati Venkateswara temple in the early  hours on Friday creating panic among the thousands of devotees. The fire started about 5 a.m at the boondi pottu- the kitchen where ingredients for the famous Tirupati laddu sweet are prepared. Tirumala: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Trust (TTD) on Tuesday denied the media reports about a devotee finding a black centipede in Tirupati laddus as baseless and false.  Several media had reported that  two devotees who bought two Tirupati laddus-the famed sweet and prasadam of the lord Balaji temple at Tirumala — found a centipede inside one of the laddus.  Gonnabatthula Devi Prasad and his friend Trinadh, resident of Ramapuram Colony of Parvatipuram town, went to Tirupati on Saturday for darshan.
